Oh do I love filler. There are so many different kinds of filler that go everywhere (it depends on the consistency of the product, meaning thick or thin and what is safe to put in each area). Temples, nose, cheeks, Nasal labial folds, smile lines, lips, jaw line, chin, neck, hands, buttocks (for cellulite and BBL).

Results vary based on your treatment. Botox or Dysport takes two full weeks at least to kick in. Fillers you’ll see immediate results, however, they require two to three weeks to settle. It’s important to understand that letting your product settle is key. We cannot add or take away until we know you’re healed and settled from your initial treatment.

Botox touch ups are done only after 14-days post injection, and not past 3 weeks. 

Everyone tends to have a different pain tollerance. Most patients do not find Botox or filler to be painful – more of a temporary discomfort. 

Our aesthetic is based on natural results. Chavi often says, “this is distance, not a sprint.” When filler or botox is placed, it’s important to let it settle for 2-3 weeks before considering a touch up. You have to be patient for results.

Most patients get their Botox or filler treatments and go on with their day with minor redness or swelling. Some treatments like lip fillers can produce more swelling or bruising than say Botox. Other threatments like Kybella or Microneedling will have a longer duration of swelling or redness. We’ll consult on your treatment and give you the proper expectation for your recovery.

We take this policy very serious. No one but the person being treated can be in office, please wait in the car until texted to come in. This is all for your safety. The office and treatment room is steralized after each patient. Masks must be worn anytime outside of your actual treatment taking place and to enter the office.  I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Ok there have been some people who are having swelling from fillers post COVID vaccine. ANY time we get a vaccine be it COVID or the flu shot the immune response brough on by the vaccine can cause swelling even if filler was placed a year ago. I recommend coming to see me 2 weeks after completing the 2-step vaccine for COVID. 

Fillers, Botox, and microneedling may not be performed on anyone that is pregnant or breast feeding. No exceptions. But hey, it’s the perfect self care after your little one arrives or you discontinue breast feeding.
