Preparing for your Morpheus8 appointment is not difficult, but it is important so be sure to follow all pre-treatment instructions. 

You will be advised to stop all tanning and use of tanning products two to four weeks before your appointment. You should also avoid using certain topical skin care products. Additionally, you might be required to adjust or stop taking medications and / or supplements, especially those that thin the blood.

Avoid using hair removal methods such as waxing and depilatories on the area(s) to be treated. Wear sunscreen while outside, and stop drinking alcohol at least 48 hours before Morpheus8.

You should arrive at your appointment with clean skin. This means no makeup, lotions, perfumes, or oils. 

What Does Morpheus8 Feel Like?

Morpheus8 uses microneedles to create a controlled injury to the skin, and while it may sound painful it’s typically not. Most patients find this treatment tolerable. If you are concerned about pain, please speak to your provider about the application of a topical anesthetic beforehand to numb the area. 

What Is Recovery Like After Morpheus8?

Because the treatment creates small, fresh wounds on your skin, you should avoid any activity that might increase your risk of infection. This includes swimming, exercising, and all strenuous activities. 

During your brief recovery period, it’s important you hydrate your body and skin. Increasing hydration enhances your body’s natural healing process. Proper nutrition, drinking plenty of water, and using skincare products as recommended by your provider will make your transition to beautiful, healthy skin much more rewarding. 

When Will I See Morpheus8 Results?
